Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Civil Services: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required. Candidates appearing for their final exams in 2025 can also apply but must submit proof of passing later.
- For Indian Forest Service: A bachelor’s degree in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering is required.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 32 years as of August 1, 2025. That means applicants born between August 2, 1993, and August 1, 2004, are eligible. Age relaxations apply as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: Up to 5 years
- OBC candidates: Up to 3 years
- PwBD candidates: Up to 10 years
Application Fee
The application fee for UPSC 2025 is ₹100. However, some candidates are exempt:
